Last weekend, Comets attended a leadership program through the Scholas organization founded by Pope Francis. Comets facilitated small group discussion and also presented on current issues they are facing as youth. Students from various high schools from the Los Angeles area came together and presented their solutions to current issues to local leaders. Jazlyn Couch '25 qualified for the D5 CIF-SS Cross Country Finals by racing to a top-eight finish at the D5 CIF-SS Preliminaries at Mt. SAC on Nov. 11, 2023. Couch led the Comets to an 11th place team finish on her way to individually qualifying for Finals. This performance comes one week after Couch won the Camino Del Rey League Championship race at Santa Fe Dam. Couch will be representing Sacred Heart High School at CIF Finals on Nov 18. 2023 at 8:25 a.m. at Mt. SAC.
