In honor of Service September, Sacred Heart High School is bringing awareness on the importance of helping others by creating opportunities for our students to grow in their love of philanthropy. Leading off our Comets, our Freshman class ventured out to four different parishes and schools to provide service where needed. In this experience, they were able to share in the Dominican tradition as well as embrace the opportunity to bond as a class through community service. Sacred Heart will continue to extend our Community Service Days throughout Service September in a continued effort to promote altruism. We are eager and proud to see the impact that our sophomores, juniors, and seniors will have on their service day. We hope that these experiences will continue to engender our young ladies to seek and embrace kindness, charity, and selflessness.
*Our freshmen students were blessed to provide service at the following locations:
-St. Christopher Parish (West Covina, CA)
-St. Louis of France Parish (La Puente, CA)
-Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish (Los Angeles, CA)
-Nativity Elementary School (El Monte, CA)
